How do you solve a problem like a sequel?

Writing Mango is proving hard than I anticipated. Now, I know that writing is easy, but I haven't done any for a couple of months and I am out of practice. Also, it is harder to write a sequel - having to reintroduce characters and give backstory and such - than it is to write an original novel. Being reduced to a monkey-cle doesn't help either.

Oh well, on to bigger and hopefully warmer things tomorrow.

Hi Mungo!

It's very cruel of Mummy to make you write in a cold room, I'm very surprised at her.
But I'm sure she'll sort out a heater for you today so you can write lots!
I can't wait to read it!

I have to write in the cold room too! If i can write with frozen fingers, so can he! As it happens, I can't, so the heater was installed today. Can feel the first tendrils of blissful warmth already

I knew you'd look after Mungo! I'm glad you're warm too, Mummy - I wouldn't like you to get sick again!
